In this video I speak about the great importance of the
course “Learning how to learn” for all children with an emphasis on children
with ADHD. Please note that even children who are not dealing with neurological
ADHD are dealing with some form of ADHD. We live in a very busy world, filled
with tons of external stimuli. Every second that your child looks at the phone
screen, his brain is filled with endless stimuli, and that’s only a short
distance away. Add to that the daily pressure at school, life in a modern world
and…What I call internal stimuli – That is, feelings that burden us sometimes,
feelings and thoughts that race through our minds. In order to deal with these
external and internal disturbances, We must learn how to learn – and because of
this, I developed the learning strategies course which is built on personal
experiences, both as a student who experienced difficulties and as a
professional teacher for twenty years. The following video is very important

Before teaching a child to learn how to study, it is crucial that we comprehend how to mediate failures and shortcomings to the students. With the correct and adapted learning strategies the child will understand and succeed – I have no doubt about that since I speak from twenty years of experience. I must emphasize, it is very important to pay attention to – failing the test or task is not the failure of the child. The child did not fail. (Many times the rigid education system failed the children). Watch the video – it is extremely important!

I have been teaching students for twenty years, already from the age of 16. I was born in a small developing town where there is one high school and several small elementary schools. When I was in high school, my elementary school teacher sent me her students from the lower grades for lessons on various subjects. I was 16 years old with an indescribable waiting list of students. I still endured difficulties in my studies during that time, and I always told everyone “I wish I had an English teacher like I know how to teach”. Over the years, I learned how to organize and simplify things for myself, all while finishing part of my degree in economics with honors distinction. When I say that there is nothing more important in the world than the knowledge of “Learning how to learn”, I truly mean that with all my heart and not as another well-known cliché. I see how vast a difference there is between my students who succeed in school and those other students who are having trouble keeping up. I see students come to me with a huge sense of failure and disappointment built up throughout their lives. After years of enduring multiple failures, they suddenly begin to feel improvement and success. I see parents who come to me for training, whether homeschooling parents or parents whose children are still in school and trying to help their children in the evenings, finally understand how important it is to learn how to learn. All of a sudden it clicks. Their eyes light up once they understand how to explain to their children the material in such a clear and easy manner.
